My name is Tracy. Not yet sure what field to venture into after completing school, I decided on furthering my education in Humanities with a program in Psychology.

Upon completion of my university career, I needed a break before venturing into ‘adulting’. A friend has suggested travelling abroad as an au-pair; so I signed with an agency and left for the USA. Almost ten years later, I am still at it – working with children. In what was meant to be a gap year, I found my vocation as a nanny. I have since travelled from the United States to Belgium, then the Netherlands and China. My childcare experience spans from working as a full-time live-in nanny, household manager, governess and personal assistant to being an English teacher.

My work as a nanny ranges from working with newborns to children in their preteen years. My duties included all elements of childcare, as well as educational and recreational activities largely influenced by
Montessori principles. I have also worked in a house managerial capacity.

I have had the extraordinary opportunity to travel with the families both locally in their home counties and internationally on family
vacations.

I am fortunate to have my work be in line with my personality. I am able to complete my duties with the seriousness and level or
professionalism it requires, but also have fun. I am a conscientious person who works hard and pays attention to detail.

I’m flexible, quick to pick up new skills and eager to learn from others and experiences. I also have lots of ideas on how to approach my responsibilities and enthusiasm in its execution.
